...Learning Style, that is.
I never knew I had a learning style…
I just answered several learning style surveys today. I never realized how much enlightening surveys could be until I tried it. Anyway, here are the few things that I found out about myself when it comes to learning.
1. I fall under the Analyzing Category because I prefer Doing and Thinking.
2. According to one of my survey results, I preferred Solitary or Intrapersonal Style.
3. Based on my VAK results, Aural preference won by one point over Visual.
I know those surveys were just tools and not totally precise. But still, if we will see the bigger picture, we could say that I am a bit of both Aural and Visual. But one thing is quite obvious in these findings. It turned out that I wasn’t much of a Kinesthetic learner.
4. I am more Reflective than Active; which is congruent to my Solitary Style.
5. There is a balance between my Sensing and Intuitive learning abilities.
6. Two different surveys showed that
I am both a Visual and Verbal learner. Consistent to the VAK result, these other two surveys demonstrated that I could learn better with visual aides.
7. I will be taught better if I am in a teaching environment that caters to Global Learning rather than Sequential Learning.
